Analysis and development of natural values
We analyze and monitor our contracted projects using our digital platform, EcotechAi. With geographic information, field visits, and AI-driven intelligence, we create a comprehensive overview and traceability for our projects. The area is assessed in terms of its biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and social values, providing a clear understanding of both current and future potential.
Complex Data Made Accessible with AI
User-friendly, robust, and efficient technology to secure goal achievement.
1
Initial assessment
Project begins with an initial analysis of conditions for biodiversity, social values, and carbon sequestration.
We gather and manage information from a wide range of external databases to create a preliminary overview of the project area. Large volumes of interdisciplinary data are processed using AI and machine learning for quick summarization, visualization, and analysis.
2
Current status and goal description
A detailed analysis of the project area where information and analysis from external data sources are complemented and verified through field visits and eDNA sampling.
Based on the results of the current status analysis, goals for development during the project period are formulated.
3
Developement and monitoring
The system generates a preliminary management plan based on the goal description and the involved natural habitats. After verification and quality assurance, a complete project report is generated.
A systematic follow-up is created for each project to ensure goal fulfillment. The monitoring is conducted both digitally and through field visits.
Verification of data in field
External data is verified and supplemented with internal data collected in the field. Inventory and assessment are carried out digitally via a mobile app in the field. Sample plots, response values, and images are synchronized with the Ecotech platform. Together, this provides a robust and traceable current status for planning and development.
The primary tool for measuring biodiversity is through a nature value assessment (NVA). The method and app are significantly more detailed and comprehensive than the standard method for nature value assessment. A 10-point evaluation scale enables the measurement of changes over time.
There is also the option to complement the nature value assessment with eDNA. This is a groundbreaking concept in biological research and has the potential to revolutionize how we monitor and conserve biodiversity. By analyzing DNA traces from insect traps, water, and soil samples, a deeper understanding of species richness at the site is obtained.”
